Cookie Policy
Sariya Health uses a minimal, privacy-first approach to cookies. We use only what is strictly necessary to keep you securely signed in — nothing more.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to keep users signed in, remember preferences, and collect analytics data.
Not all cookies are equal — some are essential for a site to function, while others are used for advertising or tracking your behaviour across the web. We only use the former.
2. Cookies We Use
Sariya Health uses one category of cookies only: essential authentication cookies. These are set by Supabase, our authentication provider, and are required for you to stay signed in to your account.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you securely signed in to your Sariya Health account. Without this cookie, you would be signed out every time you close your browser. | Session / up to 7 days |
This cookie is set only when you sign in. It is deleted when you sign out or when your session expires.
3. What We Do Not Use
We do not use:
- Analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or any other analytics tool that tracks your behaviour
- Advertising cookies — we do not run ads and have no advertising partners
- Social media cookies — we do not embed Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter tracking pixels
- Third-party tracking cookies — no cookies from advertisers or data brokers are placed on your device
4. Your Choices
Because we only use essential cookies, a cookie consent banner is not legally required — these cookies are necessary for the service to function. You cannot opt out of the authentication cookie while signed in.
However, you are always free to:
- Sign out of your account, which will delete your session cookie immediately
- Clear all cookies in your browser settings at any time — note this will sign you out of your account
- Use the platform without signing in to browse our public pages — no cookies are set for visitors who are not signed in
5. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce new cookies — for example, if we add analytics in the future — we will update this policy, notify existing users by email, and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.
